Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for outdoor lighting for a bridge / tunnel.

The Atlantic City Expressway Connector and Tunnel LED Lighting Conversion consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work required to replace the existing light fixtures within the Atlantic City Expressway Connector (ACEC) Tunnel with LED lighting as well as to replace the existing roadway lighting fixtures along the Atlantic City Expressway Connector and affiliated roadways and ramps. The areas include replacement of existing light fixtures with LED lighting along the Atlantic City Expressway east of the McGahn Bridge, Atlantic City Expressway Connector, Bachrach Blvd, ACEC Tunnel, Huron Avenue NB & SB from Route 30 to Route 187, Route 30 WB from Penrose Canal to Pennsylvania Avenue, McKinley Avenue (Service Road & Ramp), Route 30 EB between Brigantine Blvd & Pennsylvania Avenue, N. North Carolina Avenue from Caspian Avenue Ramp to Brigantine Blvd, Brigantine Blvd (Route 87) NB & SB from Huron Avenue to Bridge over Absecon Inlet and Access Drive, and affiliated ramps as noted on the contract drawings. Bidders are advised to review the detailed scope of work and restrictions noted in the Instructions to Bidders ITB-1, Section 1. Pursuant to certain specifications prepared by the South Jersey Transpor-tation Authority, Department of Engineering. Bid form, contract, plans and specifications may be examined at and obtained from: SOUTH JERSEY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING FARLEY SERVICE PLAZA ATLANTIC CITY EXPRESSWAY M.P. 21.3 ELWOOD, NEW JERSEY 08217 (609) 965-6060 In order to bid this project, the bidder shall be pre-qualified under one (1) of the following NJDOT Class Codes, or any one of the respective sub codes, at the time of bid submission: Class Code 5, Heavy Highway Class Code 7, Electrical The bidder and/or the following subcontractors shall be pre-qualified under the following NJDOT Class Codes: NJDOT Class Code 7, Electrical* *To be declared on Page P-11 Subcontractor Declaration Page P-11 of the Proposal Section. The bidder shall be prequalified at the time of submission. For further information on this process, see the Instructions to Bidders located within the bid specifications for this project. The Authority, in accordance with law, reserves the right, according to law, to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any minor informality or non-material exceptions in any bid or bids so received. Bids must be made on the Bid Form contained in the contract documents in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. (Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the TOTAL BID PRICE but not to exceed $20,000.00), is required to accompany all bid submissions. Said bids will be addressed to the Purchasing Department, South Jersey Transportation Authority, Atlantic City Expressway M.P. 21.3, Farley Service Plaza, Elwood, New Jersey 08217. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Mandatory Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations.
