Red Pump Elementary school was constructed on Red Pump Road and athletic facilities constructed on an adjoining parcel in partnership with Harford County Public Schools. These fields will be utilized to meet the recreation needs of the Bel Air Recreation Council. Restrooms, storage facilities, playgrounds and other amenities will be needed in the future. Funds for additional improvements may be available from new developments in the area and recreation councils. Additional residential development is anticipated in this community. Population growth will generate demand for additional recreation facilities. This project supports the goals and objectives of the 2022 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan and its Capital Improvement Program recommendations. The project is included in the County's 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) As of September 18, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
