The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Lift Station No. 1 Improvements for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 316 including, but not limited to: installation of a bypass pumping force main connection; demolition of the existing piping, valves, and pipe supports in the wet well and valve vault, valve vault access ladder, and valve vault concrete roof and access hatch; abandoning the exist valve vault and filling with cement stabilized sand; constructing a concrete housekeeping pad at grade with concrete pipe supports, providing and installing new piping, valves, pipe supports, and pump lifting chains; pressure blasting and application of approximately 900 square feet of 1/2 " thick repair mortar to the wet well; application of 100% solids epoxy to all wet well interior surfaces and application of protective coatings to all proposed piping, fitting, and valves; construction of site access paving to tie into the existing driveway; construction of an elevated steel platform, complete with grating, handrails, and stairs; demolishing and removing all electrical equipment as shown on the plans and installation of new service entrance including coordination with CenterPoint, new control panel, new manual transfer switch, new terminal boxes, new autodialer, new surge protection device, new floats, new transducer, new floodlights, new conduits and conductors, and new concrete duct bank; and all other miscellaneous items specified or shown in the contract documents required for a complete and functioning lift station.
