Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbia, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 29, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. It may be awarded in August, 2021. Howard County intends to procure the services of one construction firm to perform the construction of the replacement of the Upper Little Patuxent Parallel Interceptor Sewer. The project includes utility construction involving: sanitary sewer installation, diversion structure and junction chamber construction, slide gates installation, manhole installation, and temporary bypass pumping services. This project is in SHA Cost Group "E". Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond OR certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the "Director of Finance, Howard County". For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Procurement and Contract Administration PRIOR to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive. Furnish, install, maintain, and remove temporary mulch access roads as specified in the Contract Documents or as otherwise directed.
