Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Wilmington, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Clarksville Connector, Phase I- Bridges is a design-build project, constructing 4 bridges on a future recreational path, utilizing existing railroad bridge abutments. The future trail extends from the terminus of the Luther Warren Peace Path on Nelson Avenue in Wilmington to Beechgrove Road in Ogden. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than April 30, 2020. The Board of Control of the City of Wilmington reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities in bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days of the actual date of the bid opening thereof.
