Site work and paving for a civil project in Faison, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project will include 3,941 LF of the removal and replacement of gravity sewer, 1,401 LF of new gravity sewer, associated manholes, services, and road work. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) which includes $1,311,515 in CDBG funds. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work hours and Safety Standards Act. The Town of Faison is committed to and supportive of efforts to effectively maintain and/or increase the use of Small and Minority/Women owned business and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation for Construction Projects, services (including professional and consulting services) and commodities purchases, AND increase contract participation to offer employment, training and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Plans, Specifications and Other Contract Documents May Be Examined at the Following Locations: 1.
