Site work for a mixed-use development in Lac La Biche, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Work of this Contract comprises of the following: 1. Horizontal directional drilling of approximately 1,440 m of combined utilities (100mm diameter water, and 75mm diam sanitary sewer) and tie-ins to existing infrastructure and the existing Shower House. Includes decommissioning and abandoning existing water and sanitary sewer lines in place, and all surface works and restoration. 2. Horizontal directional drilling of approximately 335 m of 100mm diameter water to the group use area and supply and installation of hose bib. 3. One (1) new air release valve. 4. Horizontal directional drilling of new water and sanitary main and water and sanitary services to eleven (11) cabins. Work includes decommissioning of the existing main and services, connection to the existing valves, removal and salvage of surface works around existing service valves and tanks, insulation of the existing sanitary pump tanks, and all hydrovac pit and surface restoration. 5. New water and sanitary service and existing septic tank insulation for the existing shop building. Includes decommissioning and capping of existing shallow services. 6.
