The project consists of modifying an existing influent pump station and associated discharge piping, valves, controls, and modifications and additions to some existing piping. Also included are upgrades to the switchgear and a portion of the existing electrical distribution systems at the Upper Moreland-Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority wastewater treatment plant, Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County. 18106-259 Each bid must be accompanied by certified check drawn to the order of Upper Moreland-Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority or a Bid Bond in favor of Upper Moreland-Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. All contractors and sub-contractors working on this project will be required to comply with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act No. 222. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
