This Request for Quote (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the "Province") to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of Concrete Floor Polishing in Chase Gallery of the Nova Scotia Archives to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal ("TIR") on behalf of the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage ("CCH"), as further described in the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). This RFQ is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual. The Nova Scotia Archives is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. The Chase Gallery, located on the lobby level of the Archives Building, 6016 University Avenue, offers short-term exhibition space at a reasonable fee for local and provincially based artists and art organizations. Feature exhibits change monthly. TIR is seeking an experienced contractor to supply all labor, materials and equipment to complete concrete floor polishing on the existing floor surface of approximately 2460 square feet, in the in the Chase Gallery of the Nova Scotia Archives, 6016 University Avenue, Halifax.
