The City of Jonesboro is accepting bids for refinishing of twelve (12) tennis courts at the Allen Park Tennis Courts, 3609 Race Street., Jonesboro, AR 72401 and two (2) tennis courts at Joe Mack Campbell Park, 3021 Dan Ave. Bidder should familiarize themselves with all specifications on page 3 of this bid form Materials and labor for the resurfacing of: Twelve (12) existing tennis courts, four batteries of 156' x 120', Located at Allen Park 3609 Race St Jonesboro Ar 72401 Two (2) existing tennis courts 120' x 120', Located at Joe Mack Campbell Park 3021 Dan Ave Jonesboro Ar 72401 o Clean courts by scraping, blowing, and pressurewashing. o Flood courts. Allow courts to drain for one hour, and check for planarity. Any areas holding water deeper than 1/16" (thickness of a nickel) shall be smoothed out by scraping, grinding, and/or patching using a mix of acrylic patch binder, sand, and cement. o Check for any cracks and surface irregularities and patch using a mix of acrylic patch binder, sand, and cement. Smooth all patches by grinding. Note: Cracks will reappear at any time, and are not covered by warranty. o Scrape and blow clean prepped surfacearea. o Apply one (1) application of Laykold Acrylic Resurfacer over entire area. Each mix batch shall include 55 gallons of undiluted acrylic resurfacer, 30-40 gallons water, and 600-900 pounds of 60 mesh sand. Mix thoroughly and apply at a rate of .05 - .07 gallons per square yard. When dry, scrape and blowclean.
