Work shall consist of cleaning and closed-circuit television inspection of approximately 1,400 L.F. of sanitary sewer; rehabilitation of approximately 140L.F. of 10" Diameter Sewer Pipe by means of Cured-in-place lining method; rehabilitation of approximately 1,200 L.F 6" to 8" sanitary sewer by Pipe Burst method using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) SDR 19; reconnection of approximately 45 sanitary sewer services; rehabilitation of approximately 45 V.F. of non-fiberglass manholes; and bypass pumping. All bids shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, (or Bid Bond for projects greater than, or equal to, $25,000.00) drawn on a bank authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to the OWNER, or a Bid Bond, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond upon the forms which are attached hereto, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all his obligations under the Contract Documents. These Bonds shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. That the amount of this bond does NOT exceed ten percent (10%) of the Surety's capital and surplus The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in any bid, the OWNER reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. The award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid.
