The Saskatoon Research and Development Center's (SRDC) main lab building (107 Science Place Saskatoon) consists of three wings; the Scientific Support Wing (Admin Wing), the Laboratory Wing (Lab Wing) and the Headerhouse Wing. Domestic hot water (DHW) for all three wings is generated by steam-heated hot-water heaters. The unit providing DHW for the Lab wing and the unit providing DHW for the headerhouse wing both need replacing. SRDC requires supply and install of two steam-heated hot water heaters for DHW distribution in the Lab Wing and the Headerhouse wing. Bidders are requested to RSVP to the site contact, Steven Ambros, Facilities Manager, (306-385-9458 or steven.ambros@canada.ca) by October 13, 2020 at 12:00 PM CST. Should there be sufficient interest in site visit attendance, AAFC may assign time slots to bidders in an effort to maintain social distancing protocols. The Bidder shall submit bid security with the bid in the form of a bid bond or a security deposit in an amount that is equal to not less than 10 percent of the bid amount. In accordance with provincial health regulations, interested bidders must be symptom free, wear a face mask and disposable gloves and observe social distancing from others on site.
