As of May 15, 2024, this project is in the final planning phase. Bidding is expected to take place in summer of 2024 with construction beginning in November or December. Buncombe County is seeking Statements of Qualifications from design firms interested in designing and providing construction administration for a new EMS base. Prior experience in designing EMS bases and/or Public Safety Facilities is encouraged.
