The work under this contract consists generally of repair, rehabilitation and upgrading of railroad tracks, cross ties, turnouts and appurtenances; gauging and realignment of track; removal and replacement of concrete crossings and asphalt pavement, guard rails and fencing and related work at Port Newark, Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal, Greenville Yard-Port Authority Marine Terminal, Port Jersey, Brooklyn Port Authority Marine Terminal, Red Hook Container Terminal, Howland Hook Container Terminal, and New York New Jersey Rail's 51st Street and 65th Street Terminals and the vicinities thereof in New York and New Jersey, all as directed by Engineer and in accordance with Work Order(s) issued by the Engineer. This project may be Federally funded in whole or in part.
