City of Wapakoneta, Ohio (Owner) will receive Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services associated with the Wapakoneta Water Reclamation Facility Project as more fully described in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The Project is anticipated to include a new flow control structure on the South Interceptor near MH 4; new headworks and coarse screening facility; gravity sewer collection system modifications; new maintenance building; modifications to CSO 03 and CSO 04; new fine screening and grit removal facility; new bioreactors with distribution structure and associated blower and pumping facility; 3 new secondary clarifiers with distribution structure; new disinfection facilities; new post aeration facility; effluent pump station modifications; new RAS/WAS pumping capability; new gravity belt thickener in an existing facility; new belt filter press in an existing facility; new operations building and garage; solids storage additions and modifications; additional miscellaneous improvements; and all associated demolition, architectural, site-civil, electrical, building mechanical, structural, and instrumentation and control improvements necessary to deliver a complete and operational project. The Owner’s existing wastewater treatment process shall remain in operation throughout construction until the new treatment processes are functional and accepted. The CMAR will ensure that operations of the existing facility are not interrupted during construction and the operations staff has safe access to perform routine operation and maintenance of the facility.
