Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Keyport, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the renovation of existing restrooms for fully accessible restrooms up to ADA Standards, the construction of a new three fixture private bathroom, the removal of existing doors and walls that do not follow ADA Standards, the addition of at least two (2) handicap parking spaces, and the reconstruction of existing accessible ramp to follow ADA Standards The Squad reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Squad reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Keyport First Aid Squad for all proceedings, suits or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work. The Keyport First Aid Squad reserves the right to reject any or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest of the Borough to do so. Project abandoned as of 12/16/2020 due to bids consistently coming over.
