For Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project Phase 5, Part A The scope of work includes cleaning, video inspecting, and lining of 6 inch and 8 inch diameter sanitary sewers. The work also includes sanitary sewer lateral rehabilitation by trenchless cured-in-place lining methods, sanitary sewer manhole lining, sanitary sewer point repairs by excavation, and related work. This project is being funded by an Ohio EPA Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) loan and Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) grant/ loan combination. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Information To Bidders. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be satisfactory to the City and be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The City of Oregon intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 1, 2021. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a performance bond or a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Council of the City of Oregon, Ohio, reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
