As of December 2,2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work consists of the following: 1. Rock Creek Pump Station: Construction of a new electrical building, retrofit of pumps with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and associated electrical, controls, and site improvements. 2. Martway PEFTF: Replacement of diversion structure slide gates and actuators, replacement of vertical turbine pumps with submersible pumps, replacement of chemical fill station, chemical tanks, piping and chemical feed pumps, structural improvements, mechanical HVAC and plumbing improvements, architectural improvements, and associated electrical, instrumentation, and controls improvements. 3. 75th & Nall PEFTF: Replacement of diversion structure slide gates actuators, replacement of vertical turbine pumps with submersible pumps, replacement of chemical fill station and chemical feed pumps, structural improvements, mechanical improvements, architectural improvements, and associated electrical, instrumentation, and controls improvements. 10/26/2020 05:00:00 PM (CT) - Question Cutoff Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. The County reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder(s) for the work covered by the bid and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
