Pursuant to N.C. Statute Sec. 143-128.1(A), the City of Durham is soliciting proposals from qualified Mechanical (HVAC) design-build Firms/teams interested in providing professional Mechanical design and construction services for Mechanical (HVAC) Up-Grades to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP). Any questions regarding this RFQ must be received in writing prior to 10/23/2020 by 3:00 p.m. Questions received after this date may not receive response or be the subject of addenda. Questions must be submitted to Kirby Lee at Kirby.Lee@durhamnc.gov. All written questions will be answered in an addendum posted on online. Lead Design-Build firm must have bonding capacity to provide a Labor and Material Payment and Performance bonds with coverage each equal to the total cost of the project. The Design-Builder shall furnish bonds covering faithful performance of the Project and payment of obligations arising there under. The amount of the bond shall at all times be equal to or greater than One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Design-Build Amendment Sum. This RFQ does not obligate the City to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a response. Furthermore, the RFQ does not obligate the City to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services. The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
