Contract will primarily focus on sanitary sewer overflow and main line blockage response. Cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection services for various diameters of on and off-street sanitary sewer lines, including flow control, throughout the Charlotte Water service area is required. The diameters of pipes to be cleaned and inspected range from 8 inches to 24 inches. Service schedule will vary, as required, and may include the need to perform Services during evenings, weekends, and/or City observed holidays. Company is expected to be available to respond seven 7 days a week, if needed. Submission of Written Questions. Companies are permitted to submit written questions for purposes of clarifying this RFP. All submissions must be pursuant to the instructions in Section 2.3, and e-mailed by 5:00 p.m. EST Submit a question in writing to the Procurement Officer at the e-mail address listed below. Other than this permitted method, Companies should refrain from contacting City staff prior to the Proposal deadline. The City is not bound by any statements, representations, or clarifications regarding this RFP other than those provided in writing by the Procurement Officer. Pricing shall be fixed and firm. The City maintains the option to renew the Contract for two (2) additional one-year contract periods if the Company's workmanship and performance are satisfactory It is understood by the Company that the City reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to make awards on all items or on any items according to the best interest of the City, to waive formalities, technicalities, to recover and resolicit this RFP.
