Any bid submitted will be binding for thirty (30) days following the date of bid opening 1. demo existing acoustic plaster layer (perfomed by gc) a. existing scratch coat to remain (patch/repair as necessary and prep to receive new finish) 2. provide new 1/2" acoustic plaster layer a. product: (usg acoustic plaster finish - or equal) 3. gc to provide staging as necessary for completing work. protect existing conditions (seating, flooring, walls) from damage from new work performed. 4. finish ceiling installer to protect existing conditions (seating, flooring, walls) from damage from new work performed. 5. all existing lighting / hvac diffusers / access panels / wifi / projectors / fire alarm devices to remain. coordinate new work installation around existing ceiling elements. removal of existing trim / devices is permitted to install new work. removed/modified elements that facilitate installation of new acoustical layer to be reinstalled. any devices / trim damaged is to be replace with new. 6. coordinate with owner location of dumpster. 7. all debris to be disposed of in proper manner. 8. contractor to secure demo and building permits as necessary for completing work. 9. contractor to protect dust/debris during demo and construction from entering rest of school through \hvac or through doors. provide dust protection as necessary. 10. contractor to maintain a clean and sfe work site.
