The Contract Time for this project is one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the effective date of the written Notice to Proceed to achieve Final Acceptance. Liquidated damages will be assessed if this time limit is exceeded. All prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with the Jefferson county environmental services department to bid class "A" sewer line projects in order to bid on this project. To pre-qualify with the department and to construct class "A" sewer line projects, each prospective bidder must furnish written evidence of competency and evidence of financial responsibility to the county. Accordingly, the county will not accept pre-qualifications after October 16, 2020. Bid proposal forms will not be issued to prospective bidders who do not pre-qualify.
