Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The provisions of 49 CFR Part 26, and 41 CFR Part 60-1, as applicable to Federal grants regarding equal employment practices and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation are applied to these procurements. The project consists of strengthening, repairing, and painting portions of the Post Tensioned Segmental Concrete Bridge, rail replacements on the bridge and approaches, and repair to the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls supporting the approaches crossing over Front Ave, NS Railroad in the east bank of the flats and through the Port in the City of Cleveland. Related signal system elements will be adjusted and reset as needed for proposed rehabilitation work. The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) transmits herewith this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the project referenced above. The Engineer's Estimate is $10,758,844.00 and the DBE goal is TWELVE percent (12%). Bid Guarantee - equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the bid price if provided by cashier's check or money order; or one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount if provided by bid bond. Performance Bond - in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Payment Bond - in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
