Renovation of a mixed-use development in Union City, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,200-square-foot fire / police facility.

The City of Union City (City) Public Services Department is seeking proposals from professional contractors (Consultant) to provide construction services to repair and renovate Union City's Fire Station 42 and Union City's Public Services building. All proposals should be clear and concise. *Project consists of renovations and repairs of two (2) City facilities. PUBLIC SERVICES BUILDING The Proposer shall provide a plan on how they will renovate the second level of the Public Services building. The current building space for the second level is approximately 600 square feet and should include the following features and area of emphasis: o Installation of a shower room only o Construct one (1) office space o Construct one (1) file room o Remove and replace all sheetrock o Improve lighting o Improve and install new flooring FIRE STATION 42 The Proposer shall provide a plan on how they plan to provide construction services to remodel Fire Station 42. The current renovation space for Fire Station 42 is approximately 2,600 square feet and shall include the following feature and area of emphasis: Demo and remove all existing flooring and install new LVT flooring throughout the space. o Bathroom will be tiled in shower area, walls and floors including the main restroom area. A new toilet partitions will be installed and existing restroom cabinet will be refinished. o All walls and millwork will be painted. Construct and build three (3) separate bedroom areas to include drywall framing millwork to match the existing bedrooms. o Refinish existing kitchen cabinets and install new backsplash and countertops. o Assess block walls for any structural damage and repair as needed. o Replace two (2) exterior doors that leads into the exercise area and sleeping quarter Written questions from Proposers due 10/20/2020 Written questions should be directed to City of Union City, Brandon Paulk via email at: bpaulk@unioncityga.org
