**As of February 22, 2021, the project has been awarded, awarded amount is $68,515.70.** The City of Orange, CA, a Municipal Corporation, is requesting qualified contractors to provide bids in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by City of Orange staff. All work shall conform to City of Orange codes, ordinances and standards. The work will generally include, but not be limited to: Dismantling and removal of existing pedestrian footbridge assembly down to existing concrete piles and thresholds. Construction/installation of new footbridge including steel support beams with wood joists and Composite decking.. Powder coating and re-installation of existing guard railing. Questions for this project are due on October 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. All questions regarding this project must be emailed to both nbluhm@cityoforange.org and commservbids@cityoforange.org and titled RFI-Del Rio Bridge by the deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any item on items therein, and to waive any non-conformity of Bids with this Request for Bids, whether of a technical or substantive nature, as the interest of the City may require.
