Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
STATE PROJECT NUMBER : 23-1170-060-19-3000, 23-1170-050-19-4000 Bids shall be made on the proposal form provided and in the manner designated, shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and the project name or bid number noted on the outside, and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the East Brunswick Board of Education in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. The Board of Education shall not be responsible for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the East Brunswick Public School District is currently closed to the public and there is no guarantee that District offices will re-open by the required proposal submission date indicated below. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in the following category; pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27, et. seq.: (C032) HVACR Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of the work as specified in N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, if any, and all other specialty trade subcontractors required by these specifications, must be prequalified by the NJ Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction and shall have a valid Classification effective as of the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive minor bid defects.
