Site work for a municipal facility in Cumming, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Each Proposer must deposit with his Proposal, a Bid Bond, or a Certified or Cashier's Check to the order of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid and a Consent of Surety form from a surety company licensed to conduct business in the State of Georgia, engaging to furnish, upon award of the Contract, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond. Forsyth County (the County) intends to acquire an AMI system and related products, software and services (collectively, the System), for all of its approximately 66,000 water meters. o Cold water meters with AMI-compatible registers to replace some existing meters. o Meter interface units, or "MIUs" capable of encoding, storing and transmitting meter reading and other data, such as tampering alerts. o Installation of new meters, retrofit registers (if applicable), and AMI endpoints. o A County-dedicated network or non- County-dedicated communications service to collect and transport meter reading and other information from the endpoints to an HES. o Handheld devices and software necessary to program and/or initialize the endpoints and collec installation data. o Head-end system (HES) to collect, store, and manage the data which is delivered through the network. o A meter data management system (MDMS) which can store meter reads and consumption data and allow that data to be queried, exported and summarized, and from which standard reports can be generated. o A customer web portal to display interval consumption data and other information. o The design, installation and testing of information interfaces between the AMI system's software components and the County's customer information system (CIS) and other systems, such as its field work order system. o All related documentation, including technical manuals and operating procedures. o Training of the County's employees in endpoint installation, maintenance, diagnosis and troubleshooting, as well as system use, operation and maintenance. o Shipping and managing the inventory of AMI equipment during the course of project deployment.
