Landscape Maintenance - Baseball, Softball, and Multi-Purpose Fields - Forty-five (45) services annually (weekly during growing season; bi-weekly during dormancy) - Mowing all sod areas - Edging all necessary grass lines - Edging all necessary hard lines (minimum bi-weekly) - String trimming along inside of fence and where mowers cannot reach during each mowing visit - Blowing out dugouts, debris off infield dirt, and debris from walkways and paved/seating areas - Excessive clippings remaining on sod areas should be blown out - Remove trash and/or debris prior to mowing - Herbicide applications on infields of baseball & softball fields (not along fencing) and throughout warning tracks as needed to terminate weed/grass growth (not along grass lines) Landscape Maintenance - Common Areas - Twenty (20) services annually (bi-weekly during growing season; monthly during dormancy) - Mowing parking lot medians, entrances, parking lot perimeter, around and in between fields - Edging all necessary tree rings (minimum monthly) - Edging all hard lines - String trimming around all tree rings, obstacles, and areas mowers cannot reach during each mowing visit - Blowing of curbs, sidewalks, walkways, patios, and seating areas - Herbicide applications in tree rings to terminate weed/grass growth - Weeding of tree rings as needed - Remove trash/debris prior to mowing - Pruning shrubs around concession/restroom building as needed Inquiries Ryan Norris Parks and Recreation Manager Lee County Commission (334) 707-3606 rnorris@leeco.us
