As of Dec 31 the project will be out for rebid in the future.. This project involves the removal of the Halfmoon weathervane from atop the H. Carl McCall SUNY Building, approx. 175 feet above grade. The contractor would be responsible for supporting the weathervane, detaching from the building, lowering it to the ground, placing it on a custom-made cradle and bringing it inside the H. Carl McCall SUNY building for display and secure storage on the 1st floor. 175 feet above grade.
