PUBLIC NOTICE Radnor Township is soliciting sealed bids for the FALL TREE PLANTING PROJECT (Contract #B-20-011). The project includes the supplying and installation of trees, tree removal, and stump removal: 78 trees in the Wayne Business Overlay District (WBOD) 15 trees at Odorisio Park 5 trees at the Montrose Condominiums 76 trees at various locations throughout Radnor Township, to be planted in the R.O.W. Removal of 5 trees (WBOD) Removal of 4 stumps (WBOD) Close of Questions: Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 4:00 PM Radnor Township reserves the right to add or delete portions of work based on budgetary constraints. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid is required. Upon award, payment, and performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the bid are required, and a maintenance bond in the amount of 25% of the contract price is required. The award date for this project is tentatively scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2020. The project must be completed no later than December 31st, 2020. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 per day will be incurred after December 31st, 2020 at 5:00 PM. The Township will not accept bids from any firm/corporation that are currently in litigation with the Township. This is a prevailing wage project. The Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause permitted by law, as it deems in the best interest of the Township.
