**As of 12/8/2020 project was already awarded for $10,256,049.95. The Jones Boulevard Phase II project is located in the southwest portion of the Las Vegas metropolitan area, Clark County, Nevada. The project is approximately one (1) mile long and extends from Erie Avenue to Pyle Avenue. The improvements consist of removal of existing asphaltic concrete (AC) pavement, placement of hot mix AC pavement, and UTACS providing four to six travel lanes and bicycle lanes. The improvements also include raised medians, storm drainage facilities, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, utility modifications and relocations, ITS interconnect, traffic control devices, traffic signal loops, pavement markings, upgrade to LED lighting, streetlights, signage, intersecting streets, horizontal and vertical transitions and other necessary appurtenances. Question Cutoff Date: 10/22/2020 12:00 PM (ET) ESTIMATED COST: $9,972,561 - $11,022,305. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security (in the form of, at Bidder's option, a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, Money Order, or Bid Bond in favor of COUNTY) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base Bid amount, pledging that the Bidder will within ten (10) business days after COUNTY'S written request for insurance, furnish the bonds and insurance as required herein, covering the faithful performance of Contractor and the payment of all obligations arising hereunder. Successful Bidder, upon becoming the awarded Contractor, shall commence the work to be performed on the date set by COUNTY'S departmental representative in the written Notice to Proceed, continuing the work in accordance with the approved schedule and shall complete the entire work within 270 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. In case of failure on the part of Contractor to complete the work within the time(s) specified in the Contract, or with such additional time(s) as may be granted by formal change order, or if Contractor fails to perform the work, or any separable part thereof, with such diligence as will insure its completion within the time(s) specified in the contract or any extensions thereof, Contractor shall pay to COUNTY, as liquidated damages, the sum of $4,000 for each calendar day of delay until the work is complete, together with any increased costs incurred by COUNTY in completing the work. The Governing Body reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received, to reject any and/or all bids, and to rebid.
