Site work for a water / sewer project in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

General Construction, generally includes the following Work: removal and replacement of the existing liner and cover system for the Grampian Reservoir (potable water storage), in the City of Williamsport. Minor concrete repairs may also be necessary. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this Project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). The Owner reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner, and to reject any or all proposals. Clarification Deadline: 11/5/2020 1:00 PM The estimated cost for this Project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. Project generally includes, but is not limited to: Coordination with Project Owner. Removal of existing floating cover and liner. Cleaning and inspections of existing reservoir Installation of new liner and floating cover, with appurtenances, as Secified herein and as shown on the Contract Drawings. Quality control testing. Disinfection and testing. Cost estimate is $260,000-$325,000, which is the "EXPECTED CONTRACT VALUE" as listed under the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section below the bid advertisement/DESCRIPTION section of the bid solicitation.
