The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to provide an ultraviolet disinfection system within the filter gallery equipped with four Evoqua SX-225-8 reactors that are sole sourced, in place complete. The Filter Building: Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of four (4) ultraviolet (UV) disinfection reactors in the outlet piping of the filters, including installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment, piping and appurtenances, and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility. The Work is located within Honokowai, Maui, Hawaii, at the Mahinahina Water Treatment Facility. Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering '`A" Contractor's License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening. The Contract requires a self-performance minimum percentage for the General Contractor. These requirements are found in Instruction to Bidders and Bid Proposal. Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the "County of Maui", and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended. Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof.
