Missouri River Intake Pumping Station Wet Well and Site DevelopmentContract No. 1 - General Construction: Work generally consists of furnishing and installing a new concrete wet well; site and site access improvements and maintenance including 5,400 +/- l.f. of access road improvements with +/- 2,300 s.y. of articulating concrete surface, +/- 12,000 s.y. of Type A2 aggregate surface, and +/- 14,300 s.y. of geogrid reinforcement; grading, including +/- 4,950 c.y. cut and +/- 1,800 c.y. fill; +/- 6,900 c.y. topsoil removal and replacement; clearing and grubbing; drainage improvements, including 2 ea. 54-inch RCP flared end sections; signage, landscaping, temporary chain-link fence and gate, site restoration, +/- 41,500 s.y. seeding, and erosion control. Contractor shall also comply with all requirements in the Nationwide 12 Permit and the Road Maintenance Plans as attached to the Specifications. Note that tree removal for the intake site can only be done during the months of January and February. Contract No. 1 - Alternate No. 1: Work generally consists of furnishing and installing a new temporary shaft cover for the concrete wet well as shown on the Drawings. Estimated Value: $3-$4 Million
