Site work for a water / sewer project in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of abandoning two (2) corrugated metal pipe (CMP) storm sewer penetrations through the Salt Creek Levee and rehabilitating two (2) CMP storm sewer penetrations by sliplining with high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) and grouting the annular space between the host pipe and the liner pipe. Removal and replacement of flared end sections, flap gates and timber pile outlet structures along with riprap outlet protection is also included in this project. The project site is located in Lancaster County, Nebraska. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount bid. The check or bond shall be made payable to the Treasurer, Lower Platte South Natural Resources District as security that the bidder to whom the award is made will enter into a contract to complete the rehab project and furnish the required bonds. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
