Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of certified check, bank cashier''s check, or bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount, made payable to the County of Centre. Telephone, e-mail, and/or facsimile Proposals will not be accepted. Proposals submitted after the 4:00 PM deadline will not be accepted or considered and will be returned to the Contractor unopened. All Proposals shall be irrevocable for one (1) month after the Proposal opening date. Proposers understand that the County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any or all irregularities or technicalities, and the right to award the proposal in the best interest of the County. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is to improve and upgrade the existing camera system(s), recording, and retrieval hardware in various buildings that are owned by Centre County Government. This includes preventative maintenance service and on-call repair service to the cameras; and all other project related security control systems in those facilities. The successful Contractor shall provide a performance and payment bond for the full dollar amount within ten (10) business days from the day of the request by the County or on the date a Contract is entered into with the County, whichever shall first occur. Notice is hereby given that this project is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1995, P.L. 744 and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act No. 442 of August 14, 1961, as amended on August 9, 1963.
