Renovation of a water / sewer project in Chico, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the removal and replacement of heat trace system and insulation on sodium bisulfite tanks and pumps at the City of Chico Water Pollution Control Plant. Work includes materials, labor, services, transportation and equipment necessary to perform the work. Location: Project is located at 4827 Chico River Road, Chico, CA 95928 Remove all existing PVC Jacket material and Fiberglass insulation from piping inside and outside chemical room. Approximately five hundred linear feet. Three hundred sixty linear feet of 2" pipe and one hundred forty linear feet of 1" pipe. Remove Heat Trace tape, controllers and terminations. Approximately five hundred linear feet of tape. Remove and replace any damaged pipe hangers. Remove and replace all valve and pump insulating blankets. Twenty-six insulating blankets in total. Install new Heat Trace System consisting of all necessary controllers, tape and splice connections that are equivalent or better than existing Thermon System. Test system and confirm proper operation. Install new fiberglass insulation on entire system. Install new Heavy-Duty PVC Jacket on entire piping system.
