The Project consists of constructing approximately 3,900 linear feet of 27-inch gravity sewer, 4,900 linearfeet of30-inch gravity sewer, 400 linear feet of 42-inch gravity sewer, 48 manholes, connection to the existing system, erosion control, restoration,and grassing, testing and all other related appurtenances. A. Project Identification: Project consists of the following: 1. Byrum Creek Sewer Interceptor Improvements: a. Installation of approximately 3,900-linear feet of new 27-inch PVC gravity sewer. b. Installation of 20 sanitary sewer manholes. c. Three (3) road crossings. d. Connection to existing collection system at 10 locations. 2. Whitner Creek Sewer Interceptor Improvements: a. Installation of approximately 4,500 linear feet of new 30-inch PVC gravity sewer and 400 linear feet of new 30-inch DIP gravity sewer. b. Installation of 26 sanitary sewer manholes. c. Two (2) road crossings. d. Three (3) creek crossings. e. Connection to existing collection system at 10 lcoations. 3. Generostee Creek Sewer Trunk Improvements: a. Installation of approximately 400 linear feet of new 42-inch DIP gravity sewer. b. Installation of two (2) sanitary sewer manholes. B. Project Location: Anderson, South Carolina C. Owner: City of Anderson 401 South Main Street Anderson, South Carolina 29624 Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and technicalities in the bid. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above schedules time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of bid opening.
