Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a detention facility in Mullins, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a 11,000-square-foot detention facility; for the demolition of a detention facility; for the renovation of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The Work generally consists of a new addition approximately 11,000 square feet and selected renovations to the Marion County Law Enforcement Center. Site improvements include perimeter fencing, minor grading, and other modifications to existing utilities. The building structure generally consist of steel bar joists and structural decking on load bearing walls. The exterior walls consist primarily of brick and concrete masonry units, SPF (Sprayed Polyurethane Foams), and concrete masonry unit walls. The roof consists of both low-slope TPO membrane and standing seam metal roofing.
