This project includes installation and modifications of stormwater systems, removal of existing asphalt and concrete, installation of sidewalk and access ramps that meet ADA standards, asphalt paving and restriping of parking lots and restoration all in accordance with the contract provisions. All bids must be submitted upon the furnished forms found in the bidding documents. It is the owner's intent to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, provided the bid has been submitted in accordance with the bidding documents and does not exceed the funds available. The Lewis County Public Facility District hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Bidders and other interested parties are invited to be present at the bid opening. Bids received after the time fixed for receipt cannot be considered. Certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond shall be required with the bid equal to five (5) percent of the total bid price. Make checks and/or bid bonds payable to Lewis County Public Facilities District. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The work contemplated under this contract includes all labor, material, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the completion of all work in connection with the project described in these contract documents and the information provided at the pre-bid meeting.
