Site work and paving for a road / highway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will be located at the Foxhole Landfill, 17131 Lancaster Highway, Charlotte, NC 28277, and involves the placement of approximately 4.2 acres of asphalt on an existing ABC stone surface for the new yard waste area. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of forty-five days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the Bids, unless withdrawal is in accordance with North Carolina General Assembly Chapter 143 Section 129-1. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders, including submission of questions, and completion of included forms. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
