The project includes MP 189.46: 1,046' long 17 span stone arch; work includes phased track realignments, ballast removal and replacement, concrete deck repairs, new waterproofing membrane and masonry joint repointing. MP 190.13: 415' long concrete 9 span arch; work includes phased highway traffic control, temporary signals, concrete repairs and epoxy injection of cracks. It is expected the project will be awarded in December, 2020 with completion by December 10, 2021. The project consists of Rehabilitating 2 Bridges: MP189.46: 1046 foot long Historic Stone Viaduct; work consist of phased track re-alignments to remove and dispose of the existing ballast and Waterproof Membrane, repair the existing concrete slab, Install new ballast and track. Clean and repoint masonry grout on the spandrel walls above the springing line of arches and clean-repoint the 17 stone arches to springing line. MP 190.13: 415 foot long Historic Concrete 9 Span Open Spandrel Arch; work consist of phased Highway Traffic Control with Temporary Signalization to repair concrete ribs, spandrel walls and column legs. Work also includes epoxy grout pressure injection of multiple cracks in the concrete. Contractors shall Provide all labor, material, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work and all other incidental work shown on the Plans and described in the Specifications. All Work is to be done while minimizing railroad track outages for the railroad.
