The location of the work is the 89th Street Training Center which is housed within leased space at 1120 E. 89th Street, Chicago, IL. Improvements include building modifications to accommodate the placement of a fullmotion rail simulator and supporting rooms and equipment. See Appendix 1 for a detailed description of the scope of work. The work includes general mobilization, coordination, demolition, structural work, architectural work, electrical work, mechanical work, and fire protection work in the following areas of the Training Center: 1. Full Motion Simulator Room, 2. Observation Room, 3. Instructor Room, 4. Technical Room and 5. Transformer Closet, 6. Rail Simulation Classroom, 7. Training Classroom.
