Remove bridge and existing clarifier gear box and install new gearbox and motor and new control panel and wiring, weld up and grind center column tube to keep seal fits in tolerance, as required, replace skimmer wipers, fluidizing blades and manifold gasket on clarifier, blast and coat mechanism and deck, re-caulk V-notch weirs, replacement of existing WAS/RAS pumps and appurtenances, installation of chopper pump in existing Scum Pit, appurtenances and pump hoist in scum pit, provide all required safety measures and equipment, flow control, factory testing and start-up, clean-up and all else required for a fully rehabilitated and operational Clarifier No. 2, WAS/RAS pump replacement and scum pit chopper pump installation, appurtenances and hoist, in accordance with the Construction Drawings and Contract Specifications. The project includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, site work and other appurtenances as directed for a fully rehabilitated and functional project as depicted on the Contract Drawings and according to the Project Manual/Contract Document. All project-related questions are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing at least 7-days prior to bid and may be sent to fax number 919-772-1176 or via e-mail to gflowers@mesco.com. No questions are to be directed to Town of Louisburg staff or personnel. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a Lump Sum or Unit Price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE's) are invited and encouraged to bid.
