BUDGET ACCOUNT NO.: 31-1616 The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as required by the Plans (Drawing Number 1142, Sheets 1 to 12), Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general items of work include, but not limited to, procurement and installation of a new Gazebo Structure; new gazebo concrete floor, footings, pilaster and stairs; new concrete walkway and landscaping walls, preparation of the work area and grading; installation of electrical conduits; landscaping; and clean up and leave in an operable and acceptable condition all the work and other items not mentioned that are required by the Plans and Specifications. The work also includes three (3) Additive Alternates as shown on the plans. All bidders shall be licensed in accordance with provisions of the Business and Professions Code and shall possess a State Contractor's license, Class A, at the time of bid submittal. The successful Contractor and his subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City. All queries related to the Project shall be submitted electronically using the form posted on the City's website. All Addenda, if any, will ONLY be posted on the City's website. Queries shall be submitted no later than August 17, 2021. It shall be the Bidder's responsibility to check the City's website for any addenda. All work shall be completed in its entirety within one-hundred twenty (120) working days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
