Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call civil work for a wastewater treatment plant.
**As of December 16, 2020, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. Estimate for construction is 1-1.5 million dollars. The existing overhead electrical and control shall be relocated and rewired underground per the drawing and the technical specifications. The Contractor shall demolish, remove, and dispose existing timber only when the pile activity will commence within one week of bridge removal. Site preparation related to installing flowable fill within the eroded areas around large diameter pipeline to stabilize this are. STEEL BRIDGE INSTALLATION: The Contractor shall drive the steel piles in the proper locations as required to properly erect the steel bridge. The Contractor shall wrap the steel pile at the ground interline within a concrete wrap. ELECTRICAL POWER AND CONTROL MODIFICATIONS: The Contractor shall connect the new soda ash feed system and mechanical bin activator to the existing conductors located at the silos as appropriate. The contractor shall install the NEMA 4X control panel outside each silo. The contractor shall make modifications the existing SCADA system for operating and controlling the soda ash feed system and pumps. The contract shall also include participation in Bi-Monthly Project Status Review Meetings, participation in a Final inspection, provision of all Contract Close-out Documents including detailed As-Built Plans.
