Renovation of an educational facility in Islip Terrace, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Estimated cost : $1.9 to $2.2 million range H2M Project No. EISD1905 Requests for information (RFI) will only be received in writing or electronically. Deadline for RFI's will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the EAST ISLIP UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Certification of bonding company is required for this bid: See Instructions for Bidders section. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for forty-five (45) days after the formal bid opening The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interests of the School District. Contract P - Plumbing Work The purpose of the project is building upgrades at the East Islip Middle School including but not limited to gymnasium locker room upgrades, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm upgrades. All Work Substantially Complete: Friday, August 20, 2021 Final Punch List / Closeout: No later than Friday, September 24, 2021
