Site work for a library in Plano, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a library.

Replacement of existing landscape and irrigation system to limit and reduce maintenance & cost. Project completion must be within 120 working days. The City will require the presumed awardee to furnish their Irrigation License along with references that demonstrate municipality irrigation experience within 24 hours of the request by the Purchasing Department. The days allowed for this project is for total completion of the project, not substantial completion. Working Days shall be Monday through Friday on this contract, except for holidays as outlined in Special Conditions, SC.02. Days will continue to be charged until all work including, but not limited to, punch list items, claims against the project, cleanup, etc., are resolved and completed. Construction and demolition recycling must comply with City Ordinance. If bidder does not know the City provider for trash and recycling containers at construction and demolition sites, bidder is responsible for contacting Building Inspections Permit Services at (972) 941-7140. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank, or an ORIGNAL bid bond from a reliable surety company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond and a payment bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to CONTRACTOR. A performance bond will be required for all projects over $100,000.00 and a payment bond will be required for all projects over $50,000.00. A separate maintenance bond will be required for projects less than $100,000.00. Otherwise, it is included with the performance bond. The successful bidder shall submit, within seven (7) days after notice of award of contract, a certificate of partnership, partnership agreement or joint venture agreement which identifies the person(s) authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the partnership or joint venture. The successful bidder will also furnish certificates of insurance that meet the CITY requirements within ten (10) working days after bid opening. The successful bidder must qualify within five (5) working days after bid opening, by submitting such additional evidence as the Director of Engineering may require. Should the bidder fail to produce evidence satisfactory to the CITY on any of the foregoing points, he may be disqualified and the work awarded to the next lowest bidder so qualifying. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred fifteen percent (115%) of the contract price, and a material and labor payment bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, or other sureties acceptable to the OWNER.
