Renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Qualifications from professional engineers are hereby solicited for the proposed HVAC renovation to Leesville Elementary, Middle and High School for the Wake County Public School System. Project Scope of Work - Replacement of air handling units and boilers/pumps, lights, fire alarm and intercom. Refurbishment of the elevator and cooler/freezers will also be performed. Design work will also include items of concern during initial site visit such as external caulk and painting of metal structures. 2. Professional Services Required - Firm will provide turnkey design services including but not limited to HVAC, lighting replacement and other systems as determined in the scope walk-through, bidding, construction administration including scheduling, pre bid, preconstruction meetings, regular site construction meetings during the project, and project closeout. 3. Schedule - Qualifications submitted November 6, 2020 with design fee negotiations immediately following the selection with an anticipated design notice to proceed of January 15, 2020. 4. Selection Criteria & Format of Proposal - The qualifications presented will be used for ranking and selection. 5. Insurance - The selected design firm must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 of professional liability insurance. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
