The Kirby Road Extension project, as approved per the Kirby Road Extension Municipal Class EA Study (Schaeffers Consulting Engineers, 2019), proposes the following in accordance with the completed Environmental Study Report (ESR) and the RFP Appendices: - Construction of a 36-metre right-of-way (ROW) multi-modal arterial road featuring four (4) vehicular lanes, multi-use paths, and auxiliary lanes at existing and future intersections - Construction of active transportation facilities (i.e. multi-use paths) on both sides of the road for pedestrians and cyclists with provision and opportunity for separated cycling facilities - Construction of all associated stormwater infrastructure and stormwater conveyance crossings (bridge, box structures, cross-culverts, etc.) - Construction of north-south underpass crossings providing opportunities for future trail connections - Streetlighting and traffic signal construction Documents can be obtained at: https://vaughan.bidsandtenders.ca
